Press-Fit Bearings
Our press bearings are offered plain or flanged-mounted, with sleeve bearings or needle roller bearings.
Our bearings may be installed into very thin materials such as sheet metal, die castings, plastics, wood, and laminates, or in situations where replaceability is crucial. We offer vibration-resistant self-clinching bearings, which can be mounted in sheet metal as thin as 1mm (0.04”). The self-clinching splines force material into the retainer groove, securing the bearing and prohibiting rotation. The result is a retention ring produced from the host metal.
Our drawn-cup needle roller bearings are drawn from steel and include a carbon steel retainer with a black oxide finish. Our highly efficient, incredibly small needle roller bearings provide a wide range of performance, making them perfect for use at varying speeds and with light to heavy loads. They also provide low-friction radial load support and are self-aligning to ±5°.
Our press-fit sleeve bearings are available with either an acetal bearing that is FDA-approved, maintenance-free, and PTFE-filled or an oil-impregnated sintered bronze bearing; both are self-lubricating and self-aligning to ±5°. The retainer is made of carbon steel with a black oxide finish.
